Job Description

We are searching for an E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist to join our Internet Marketing Division. The E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist for the Consumer website coordinates all aspects of product marketing material in preparation for new launches and updates to the site, including photography, copy and other forms of media. Works with other internet partners in IT, Customer Service, Creative, and outside agencies to ensure directions for site changes are clear, accurate, and on schedule. Also coordinates heavily with the Dealer Extranet and eCommerce teams.

Requirements:

- Maintain product marketing and informational content on our website, via both content management system templates and hand-coding HTML pages, as well as work in Photoshop as needed. Content includes new product launches, ancillary pages and Microsites.

- Meet regularly with product marketing and Customer Service for status updates and to discuss new initiatives. Prioritize projects to meet deadlines.

- Implement enhancements and updates to the website as well as provide recommendations on how to best meet marketing goals while maintaining usability.

- Liaise with product marketing, Customer Service and IT to develop new site functionality and to assist in their online initiatives. Troubleshoot site issues and determine appropriate resolution as needed.

- Work with outside vendors for Creative and Production services as necessary.

- Provide monthly reporting for all areas of responsibility

Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience of 5-7 years with a focus on marketing or business. It is strongly preferred that this person also has 4-7 years of internet marketing & production experience as well as HTML experience. A working knowledge of HTML, ASP and JAVA is highly preferred, as is a strong knowledge of web analytics, specifically WebTrends and Google Analytics.
