Location: New Jersey and Florence, Kentucky Posting Date: 5/2013 Salary: $70k-85k, plus Bonus Job Description Top Chemical Manufacturing company seeks talented professional with growth potential to oversee liquid chemical operation, to include compounding, replenishment, automated systems, bulk storage and dispensing areas to ensure safe, quality and timely production. The Production Supervisor will organize staff and material flow to optimize plant performance. Responsibilities also include training and coaching staff as well as coordination of outstanding issues with other shifts. Other duties include: --Working with QC to resolve manufacturing or material problems --Investigate production non-conformances and customer complaints --Implement cost reduction techniques --Comply with operational safety, environmental protection, industrial hygiene and GMP standards Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree and 7 years production experience, of which a significant portion must have been in chemicals and some in a supervisory role. Strong PC skills and working knowledge of computerized inventory control systems (SAP preferred).
