Position Description: Corporation is seeking a Consulting Process Engineer IV to be based in our Houston, Texas office Responsibilities Advanced level of specialized engineering knowledge within the Process discipline and has a basic understanding of other disciplines. Fully versed in business development concepts and methods and leads the project proposal process. Strong understanding of Process tools and of company cornerstone applications. Fully versed with the process of preparing and checking of calculations as well as the approval, revision, retention and storage of calculations within a specific discipline. Fully versed in the collection and/or evaluation of data and information regarding technical and economic factors including physical, chemical, environmental, maintenance, operational, regulatory, constructability, and/or schedule factors relating to a specific subject within a discipline. Fully understands the use of requisitions and the role of materials management. Basic understanding of factors from outside engineer�s discipline that impact specific problems. Reviews and advises on purchase orders and subcontracts. Assists with and monitors the development of manpower, man-hour and labor cost requirements for a project to aid in evaluating the budget. Leads estimating tasks and performs material take offs' for Process discipline. Advanced level of knowledge of discipline material costs, equipment and materials lists. Understands cost analysis and forecasting. Assists in developing and mentoring junior staff. Assists in the development of training programs within area of Process. Maintains positive working relationships with peer leaders. Builds productive relationships with organizations within and external to Engineering Primary Requirements Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent education) in Chemical Engineering or the sciences from a four year accredited college or university. 17+ years of professional experience in Process Demonstrated supervisory experience supervising groups of process engineers with an emphasis on FEL/ FEED and detailed engineering projects. Background of mentoring less experienced engineers Strong previous experience in hydraulics and pressure relief analysis Process simulation and H&M Balances Equipment and Instrumentation Data Sheets PFD and P&ID development. Fully understands and assists with the planning and scheduling of process engineering tasks Fully versed in the project change control? process and identifies potential changes. Strong client focus Demonstrated experience balancing resources on a number of simultaneous small projects with short schedules Preferred Qualifications: PE License by exam Project engineering management experience Experience with managing technologist interfaces Experience in onshore oil and gas production facilities. Experience with oil and gas gathering including flowline gathering system simulation with analysis of well productivity and reservoir decline. Knowledge of Oil/gas/water separation and gas/condensate separation, crude oil stabilization, gas compression, gas dehydration, gas sweetening and dewpoint control.
