Job Description

VP will play an active role in supporting all aspects of project financing transactions being led by the bank. Candidate will also be responsible for maintaining their industry knowledge and contacts.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.) General:

Syndications professionals support the various relationship managers with the marketing, structuring, underwriting and distribution of loans for the bank�s customers. Syndications is active in supporting the Corporate Finance, Project Finance, Leveraged Finance and International Finance operations.

� Perform in-depth financial and industry due diligence (both qualitative and quantitative) in support of the origination process;

� Coordinate with originations staff in Project Finance to develop marketing information for presentations to customers.

� Assist in financial modeling and comparable analyses.

� Develop, prepare and present comprehensive marketing proposals/pitch presentations.

� Monitor general market for project finance transactions.

� Aid in prospecting for new client relationships by generating marketing materials from various quantitative and qualitative sources; and

� Maintain active dialogue with project finance market participants.

2.) Administrative:

� Primarily, reporting associated with open underwriting positions.

3.) Technical Skills

� Credit, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving and decision making skills;

� Financial modeling skills, including strong foundation in Project Finance theory;

� Superior written and oral communication skills (including presentation skills).

4.) Management Responsibilities:

� Work with other groups as part of the customer relationship management and business development functions.


MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS OR EXPERIENCE

� Undergraduate/Master�s degree;

� Minimum seven years� experience with a top tier global financial institution;

� Experience leading project finance transactions in the US, Canadian and LATAM markets;

� Knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, derivatives and risk analysis;

� Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative ideas and/or product solutions;

� Strong written and oral communication skills;

� Time management skills and ability to balance several tasks/projects at once;

� Must be a self-starter, able to work independently

� Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint); and

� Series 7, 63 and 79 preferred
